John has over 30 years of experience in both residential and commercial construction. John's father was a general contractor in California for 50 years, so construction and building things have always been a part of his life. John is a fully licensed contractor in both Arizona & California.Originally from Long Beach, California, John currently lives in Gilbert, Arizona with his wife Tricia and 3 children. John loves watching football, and his children excel at the performing arts school they attend. John also has a passion for architecture and his dorky dad hobby of building R/C cars.
Tricia got her start in Construction working as an Account Manager for Surplus Lines Insurance company. This company is where she met John, "the contractor". After talking for months, they decided to go on a date and the rest is history. Tricia loved watching what John could create out of nothing, which opened her eyes to the world of design and creativity. After they got married, they decided to go into business together and Jocia Construction Services was born. The name comes from both of their names, Jo-cia (John and Tricia) John and Tricia love working together with their clients to truly bring to life everything they could have wanted.Born and raised in Arizona, Tricia loves everything about her state and seeing everything it has to offer. From Beautiful Page to Mount Lemon in Tucson, Tricia loves to travel and see everything there is to see. Tricia cannot wait to buy an RV, grab their cat Roxy, and set out on a road trip seeing all the beautiful national forests our country has to offer.
Before joining Jocia Construction Services, Matt worked in hospitality and restaurants for over 25 years. He has opened over 40 restaurants throughout his career as a Chef, Manager, and Director. This brings a wealth of knowledge regarding functional spaces, design aesthetics, and residential/commercial project management. Using his hospitality background, Matt strives to create an elevated customer experience not usually found in the construction business. Through integrity, trust, and a customer first approach, Matt continues to bring an exciting new dynamic to sales in the construction industry.
Matt has lived in Arizona for 6 years. Originally from the Northwest (Washington), Matt spent his childhood in Bakersfield, California. After attending UCLA, he went on to live in 15 different states (including Arizona). Matt has lived a life of hospitality, travel, integrity, and a commitment to always following his heart. Once a chef, he loves preparing delicious meals for family, friends, and most importantly his beautiful wife Tara. Matt enjoys being an avid Kansas City Chiefs fan and amazing “dog dad” to his 2-year-old rescue dog Mijo. Matt, Tara, and Mijo currently live in Phoenix, Arizona,
